Charlotte has enjoyed a long and diverse career in banking, with experience in operations, lending, human resources, total quality process, and various levels of management including Senior Manager in Human Resources at First Union National Bank (now Wells Fargo). She has done extensive work in training, both in her professional career and in various organizations. She has enjoyed serving at all levels, including International President, of Credit Professionals International and serves as a motivational speaker for many types of organizations. Charlotte was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Credit Professionals International in June, 2009. Charlotte is a musician, has served as organist for Central United Methodist Church in Albemarle, N. C. for 32 years, and teaches an Adult Sunday School Class, named after her late husband who taught the class for 20 years, is Chairman of the Board for Stanly County Concert Association, Past President of Albemarle Lions International, a member of Women’s Mining Coalition, President of Uwharrie Players, community theatre group, owns her own business, CHARLOTTE MANESS CONSULTING, which includes human resources and training in addition to her speaking career and travel. She is Secretary/Treasurer of Stanly County Manager’s Association, member of the Board of Directors for Stanly County Arts Council. Members of Credit Professionals, Creditors International,and the National Association of Credit Managment have recognized Sue Heusing, MCE as a strong contributor to the Credit Industry. As an author, public speaker, trainer, strategic planning chairman and conference co-ordinator, Sue has brought recognition to every company she has represented with the Master Credit Executive designation from the Society of Certified Credit Executives.
Her most recent employer, Ricoh Americas needed help resolving multiple issues with mergers linking multiple companies and system conversions which caused the accounts receivable balance to surge out of control. Using customer service as a priority, the Ricoh team under Sue's direction, were able to resolve the overdue balances, correct multiple billing errors, correct the unapplied cash problems, and still maintain the good will of the sales team and the customer relationship. Once the issues had been resolved, the local service center was closed but not before the exisiting team trained the newly assigned staff members in Macon, GA who were assuming their new role for Ricoh.
While working at prior employers, Sue was awarded an employee of the year award from PageNet, Credit Professional of the Year Award from CPI and the Distinguished Service Award from ICA. PageNet, Kitty Hawk Air Cargo, VarTec/Excel Communications, Accor North America, and Baker & Taylor Books still consider Sue among their success stories. She has done workshops on Change Management based on "Who Moved My Cheese" thus enabling PageNet to centralize 65 field offices to Dallas, TX and coping with the many changes needed during the conversion and acquision of the company. As Membership Chairman of ICA of Greater Chicago, she served both the consumer and commercial credit industry. She received the Individual Excellence in Education Award, has written several magazine articles, education manual articles and installation programs for CPI in addition to her involvement with the the initial versions of the Comprehensive Credit Manual and the "How to Use Consumer Credit Wisely" booklet and teachers guide. That educational tool has nowa been converted to a CD entitled "Take Charge of Your Life" which is a guide to consumers financial life.
With a BS degree in Management in Human Resources, recruiting, staffing, training for all her companies has enabled her teams to succeed in reducing DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), improving the dollars recovered, reducing the write off to bad debt, all while helping the sales teams prospect for new business. Initiating the Quality Improvement process at Baker & Taylor Books and the "Top Gun" program as part of the new hire process for all sales reps at PageNet, Sue was selected by The Credit Education Resource Foundation as the first winner of the Helen B Sawyers Hero Award in recognition of excellence in leadership, a tenacious spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. Having written an article for CPI entitled "Looking for a Job is a Full Time Job" she offers assistance to others by volunteering with the Carrollton Career Focus Group and serves on the Leadership Committee for other networking groups helping job seekers land that next career. |

Terry has worked in the credit and financial industry around 40 years. She was the Magic Valley Regional Manager for the Twin Falls and Jerome and Gooding Idaho branches of Pioneer Federal Credit Union for over 12years, and for 27 years worked as Director of Administration for a wholesale/retail company. Terry was also the corporate trainer for Pioneer Federal Credit Union is soft skills, sales, sales management, Bullet Proof Management. She is a certified trainer for CUNA , and is a sought after speaker, trainer and workshop facilitator all over the US and Canada. She has been a presenter in every state and most of the Provinces of Canada for over 35 years. Terry has been a member of Credit Professionals International since 1976. She is Past President of Credit Professionals of Magic Valley, Magic Valley Credit Association, Credit Association of Idaho, and Past President of District Ten Credit Professionals, 1988-89, and 98-99 and served as the International President of Credit Professionals International in 1994-95. She has held almost all offices and committee chairmanships at all levels. She has served as President of the International Credit Education Resources Foundation. Terry served on the board with the Credit Union League for raising money for the children’s Miracle Network. Terry has been honored by her local association and District Ten as Credit Professional of the Year. She received the Lillian McCracken Award, the District Credit Association of North America’s Herb Barnes Memorial Award for Leadership and the International Credit Association’s Distinguished Service Award, along with many other awards and honors. Received the Helen B Sawyers Hero Award in recognition of excellence in leadership, a tenacious spirit and wonderful sense of humor two summers ago and last spring was given the Lifetime Achievement Award in Seattle. Terry has received so many awards she reflects on them as nice, but don’t like to dust them, so donates them back to 4-H and other groups to have re-plaqued and given to kids for their achievements. Terry annually put on A Day for Kids supporting Credit Unions for Kids, benefitting the Children’s Miracle Network. She also works closely with Kindervision or CHIPS and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Terry recorded the CD/Tape “Take Charge of Your Life” for the Credit Education Resources Foundation. Terry is a speaker; facilitator, workshop presenter, consultant with her own business “Speaking of Excellence” and she is author of many articles for the Credit Education Manuals, The Credit Professional magazine, and the CPI Connection, news papers and business publications.
