Central Kansas Business Connection

Chartered in 1937    cpilogo bluewhite-100x91

Hutchinson Credit Professionals International is happy to announce that we are going to be sponsoring Banzai at Hutchinson High School.  Banzai is a financial literacy software online program for students.   It is an interactive and fun -- teaching the value of a dollar by exposing them to real-life adult financial dilemmas ....budgeting, paying auto insurance and taxes.

HISTORY -- This association was organized by Mary Jones, owner of the Hutchinson Credit Bureau in 1937.  The first name of the organization was Credit Women's Breakfast Club.   Since that time, we have had a few name changes but our purpose remains the same to promote education.

CURRENT -- Our new name is "Central Kansas Business Connection" affiliated with Credit Professionals International.   We chose that name since we have men and women from Hutchinson and Wichita.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT --  Four members have earned their credit certification. We also have had three members become Credit Professional of the Year on the International level and a Past International President of CPI.

NETWORKING -- We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM for a dinner meeting at a local Hutchinson restaurant.   Please call one of the officers listed below to be a part of our networking association.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT-

  • Need a speaker?  We speak in the community about fraud and other issues in the credit industry.

  • Have a booth at the Women's Show in Hutchinson each year during March for  the Credit Education Month where we promote credit information to the public.
